Where is Halcombe?
Halcombe is situated 12 km north west of Feilding, and 4 km east of the Rangitikei River, in the Manawatū - Whanganui
region of New Zealand. It was once the main railway junction in the central North Island and was destined to be a major township, before changes in transport and developments in regional industry shifted the focus to Palmerston North. Halcombe is now a small but thriving rural settlement with over 500 residents. Included in the wider Halcombe district are the communities of Stanway, Tokorangi, and Kākāriki.
